Remote Integration Developer

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining high quality and innovative Technology solutions providing market leading customer and colleague experiences.
• Collaborating with teams in product, delivery, test and service to deliver scalable and secure solutions in line with business ambitions.
• Developing effective, timely and robust business integrations, maintaining and supporting our data management solutions and supporting enterprise initiatives through innovative and appropriate provision of quality data.
• Working within Greene King’s Technology team to provide excellent business support, customer service and project delivery for all key business systems.
• Building integration (API) solutions and using various data tools to ingest data from flat files, XML and 3rd party data sources using Azure Data Factory.
• Hands-on experience of building and maintaining Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines including repos, pipelines, security tooling (e.g. SonarQube), release and deployment software.
• Experience of security solutions and controls that must be used in Integration solutions, secure coding such as OWASP ZAP.
• Working with Open-source components and packages, understanding the opportunities and risks associated.
• Strong knowledge of software testing techniques and examples of shift-left approach to building this into development processes.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring for other Integration Developers.
• Welcoming and supporting business change in terms of new and evolving processes that will support Greene King Digital delivery and development.
• Proactively enhancing and evolving all aspects of themselves and the team in terms of new processes, software and techniques.
• Hands-on experience of cloud-based environment builds using Microsoft Azure or AWS in a structured way using infrastructure as code.
• Building and maintaining software toolsets and working with 3rd party engineering teams to collaborate and deliver solutions.
• Familiarity with building out HA/DR compliant solutions that can handle scaled public Digital solutions.
• Holding a Computer Science degree and certifications in Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and integration platforms.
