About Us
Stack One is the universal integration layer for modern Saa S products.
We've raised $24m in 2 years, and we're backed by top tier investors like Google Ventures and Workday Ventures.
Our unified API platform lets vendors ship hundreds of native, white label integrations in days, not months, by abstracting away dozens of disparate third party APIs into a single, normalized interface.
On top of those APIs, we provide AI Agent Actions so customers can build agentic workflows without wrangling Open API specs.
Stack One sits behind the scenes as an embedded i Paa S: SOC 2 compliant, multi-tenant, and invisible to end users powering integrations for future-of-work Saa S categories such as HR, Compliance, and AI Agents.
Our customers are established B2B Saa S companies that
- Sell to mid market and enterprise buyers
- Are building AI Agents in the near future
- Need deep, native integrations to win competitive deals and power their product
- Value time to integration over building connectors in house
We typically close OEM and embedded licensing deals, multi-year (1 to 3 year) contracts, five to seven figure TCV, with a strong land and expand model.
Key buyer personas are the CPO and CTO.
About the role
We are seeking a Solutions engineer to join our team and help create a world-class unified API experience for our customers.
The ideal candidate will have had experience in a customer facing role & in developing integrations with various tools via APIs and a keen interest in exploring new technologies and platforms.
As an Solutions Engineer at Stack One, you will play a crucial role in driving the expansion of our platform's capabilities.
You will work to understand our customer's unique needs and collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to add support for new integrations within the Stack One unified API.
This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation, enabling seamless connections between the diverse range of tools and services that power today's Saa S ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Help scope & gather requirements to understand customers' integration needs
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop new integrations and capabilities for the Stack One unified API

- Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing integrations
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers during the on-boarding process and beyond, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Contribute to the development of integration-related documentation, guidelines, and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the API and integration space
About You

- Experience interacting with APIs
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Our Stack
As one of the key hire in the company, you will have a lot of freedom and agency to choose and work with the technology you love. Our current tech stack includes:
- Infra & monitoring: AWS (ECS, Postgres), Datadog, Sentry...
- Programming Languages & Frameworks: Typescript (Node. js)
- Other day-to-day Tools: Postman, Notion, Slack, Jira, Git Hub, Readme, Intercom and more
- Product
Our integration platform is unique for Saa S because
- It's the easiest and fastest.
To add dozens of integrations, you only need to integrate once with our unified API and we take care of the rest.
This is way faster, cheaper, and more reliable than building every integration to each tool one at a time (it can take weeks/months per integration).
- We enrich and standardize APIs: Don't worry about the headache of figuring out how every tool's API works.
We add features that don't exist out of the box (like using filters in your query or triggering a webhook when data changes) and make all APIs behave in the same consistent way.
It's easier and better to go through Stack One than to connect to the tools directly.
- It's the only one that never stores personal data: We are SOC2 certified, have data residency options for GDPR compliance, and more features to protect your customers' data, plus we never store any of our customer's data.
