As a key member of the executive team, you’ll work closely with the CEO to drive financial performance, steer strategic decision-making, and help us scale with purpose. What You’ll Be Doing as Head of Finance
- Own and lead all financial operations, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Prepare strategic performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Define and oversee KPIs, providing clear insights into business performance.
- Develop and implement robust financial and tax strategies.
- Lead on company secretary duties, accounts preparation, options schemes, and audits.
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP and financial regulations.
- Manage and nurture third-party relationships across finance, data, and insurance.
- Support fundraising processes and capital strategy.
- Play a key role in long-term strategic planning alongside the CEO and leadership team.
The Candidate for Head of Finance
- 6-10 years of experience in senior finance roles (Financial Controller / Head of Finance).
- Strong technical foundation and understanding of regulated environments is a must have: experience in an insurer or MGA will be an advantage.
- Hands-on operator with strategic vision - comfortable switching between detail and big-picture thinking.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
- High integrity, dependable, and confident in making and implementing tough decisions.
- Naturally high-energy, proactive, and results-driven, with a bias for action.
