Description About Connect Ad

Connect Ad is a European, independent Supply-Side Platform built for efficiency, transparency, and long-term value creation.

As a boutique challenger in the programmatic ecosystem, we focus on delivering high-quality supply and maximising revenue for our publisher partners — without unnecessary complexity or excessive take rates.

We work closely with publishers, agencies, advertisers, and technology partners to build efficient programmatic marketplaces that prioritise performance, transparency, and sustainable growth.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager, Demand & Supply Partnerships to grow Connect Ad's presence in the UK programmatic market.

This role sits at the intersection of agency demand development and publisher supply acquisition — a senior commercial marketplace role, not a pure agency-sales or pure publisher-onboarding role.

You will build senior relationships with UK agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, programmatic buyers, and advertiser stakeholders to activate PMP and curated-marketplace demand, while developing publisher relationships and onboarding high-quality UK supply into Connect Ad's platform.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own senior relationships with UK agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, programmatic buyers, and advertiser-side stakeholders.
  • Activate PMP and curated-marketplace demand through Connect Ad.
  • Drive revenue through deal IDs, PMPs, curated marketplaces, and programmatic supply packages.
  • Identify, pitch, and onboard premium UK publishers and media owners into the Connect Ad platform.
  • Build supply-acquisition strategies focused on inventory quality, buyer activation, and marketplace fit.
  • Help publishers improve monetisation through Connect Ad's demand, transparency, and yield strategy.
  • Translate buyer demand into relevant, commercially packaged supply.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with agencies, buyers, publishers, and strategic partners.
  • Work closely with product, operations, account management, and leadership teams.
  • Represent Connect Ad at industry events and senior agency and publisher meetings.
  • Success metrics
  • Demand revenue growth across your UK agency and buyer portfolio.
  • PMP and curated-marketplace revenue.
  • Number and quality of new UK publisher partnerships onboarded.
  • Revenue from newly activated supply.
  • Agency and Hold Co spend activated through Connect Ad.
  • Pipeline quality and conversion rate.
  • Strategic relationship depth across agencies, publishers, and technology partners.

Requirements

  • Substantial, proven experience across programmatic advertising, adtech, SSP/DSP partnerships, agency sales, publisher development, or digital-media business development.
  • Strong existing network across UK agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, programmatic buyers, and/or premium publishers.
  • Proven commercial track record of building revenue-generating partnerships in adtech.
  • Strong understanding of RTB, PMPs, curated marketplaces, deal IDs, SSPs, DSPs, header bidding, ad servers, and programmatic monetisation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders, translating technical programmatic topics into clear commercial value.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership, comfortable in a fast-moving, independent SSP environment.
  • Business-fluent English (C1 or above).

Benefits

  • A strategic, high-impact role within a growing independent SSP.
  • Remote working model.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where you shape Connect Ad's demand and supply strategy in the UK.
