Company Overview: This business is a global leader in the manufacturing, commission, service, and maintenance of CNC Machines, although mainly specialising in 5 axis. They serve industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Woodworking, Sheet Metal, and Composites. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Service Engineer to work and progress for a true market leader.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide field-based service support for CNC machining centres, primarily working independently with occasional team collaboration.
  • Adapt to a varied and dynamic workload in a permanent, stable role.
  • Routine maintenance and servicing of CNC machines, predominantly 5-Axis.
  • Mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Root cause analysis, fault finding, and troubleshooting.

About You/Required Experience:

  • Proven field service experience in 5-axis CNC milling and routing machines.
  • An understanding of 5-axis programming for milling, routing, drilling, and trimming applications.
  • Knowledge of Step 7 PLC Setting.
  • Some experience of CAD/CAM programming would be a plus.

Please note, this is not a Programmer or Operator role, this is for a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and service the machines.
