- Description
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks for group entities across the UK, including but not limited to:
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Journal posting
- Reclassifications and corrections
- Accruals and prepayments postings
- Support with month-end and year-end close
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- VAT reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation across all group bank accounts
- Financial analysis
- Support the preparation, submission and review of group payroll across all entities
- Assist in preparing internal and external financial reports in compliance with both UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency across multiple completed acquisitions and future targets.
- Manage third-party vendors to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide documentation and support for external audits.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Leadership
- Profile
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Experience in statutory reporting
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Excellent organisational and advanced communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive, can-do attitude, thriving in dynamic environments
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
- Right to work and live in the UK without sponsorship
- Experience with SAGE Intacct would be desirable
