AECOM is seeking a Digital Optimisation Lead UK&I for our Water End Market work, supporting the growth of our digital service. The Digital Optimisation Lead will report to the Water Digital Lead for Europe & India. Guided by client understanding, our digital water team harness our domain, delivery and digital expertise to advise, advance and implement sustainable solutions for tomorrow's success!

As a Digital Optimisation Lead you will take a lead role in guiding our internal delivery teams to transform and optimise our engineering deliverables and implementation of digital adoption technology and product development. The main objective, with support from regional digital optimisation leaders will be to provide comprehensive end-to-end project team support, facilitating the integration of digital solutions into our business operations. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our Client Account Managers and delivery teams.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Digital adoption across region: identify areas where upskilling and support in project delivery is required to successfully deliver digital methods of working.
  • Collaborate Globally: Build trusted relationships with our global digital water optimisation leader and our Enterprise Capabilities team.
  • Project Support: Act as digital lead across multiple projects or framework.
  • Resource Management: Responsible for ensuring suitable resources are identified and allocated to projects.
  • Software Champion: Point of contact within region for technical software queries.
  • Internal stakeholder Presentations: Present at regional water townhalls, updates and successes.
  • Digital Strategy: Work with Water Digital Lead to plan and develop digital strategies and successfully deliver owned elements of plan.
  • Regional Optimisation Leaders: Manage and lead team of regional optimisation leads, ensuring our project delivery teams have the support to deliver projects through latest digital solutions.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Certified Postgraduate or Equivalent Qualification: In Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Project Information Delivery: Experience in delivering project information in accordance with BIM standards.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Revit and/or Civil 3D, with experience in validating and coordinating models in Navisworks or similar software.
  • Design Automations: Experience of working with teams to identify automation opportunities and develop Minimum Viable Products (MVP) which have scaling potential.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Experience of influencing non-technical executive stakeholders from around the business.
  • Mentoring and coaching: Experience in mentoring and coaching technical and non-technical teams.
