- Our Tax team
We're looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic and practical International Tax and Transfer Pricing Lead to support the Tax team at Monzo, and our wider Finance team.
You'll be joining our Tax Team and reporting into our Head of Tax.
You'll be supported by our International Tax Manager, as well as local advisors where required.
You'll play a key role by...
- Leading the Tax Squad on all international expansions, with support from the other Squad members on employment taxes, VAT, and operational taxes as required.
- Owning all direct tax compliance and reporting in the EU and the US, and assisting the business with local direct tax advice on an adhoc basis.
This could be on anything, from new products, to new hiring strategies, to new funding proposals.
- Owning the design and implementation of our Global Transfer Pricing Policy, including ensuring ongoing compliance requirements are met.
- Being the key tax point of contact for local finance teams, ensuring they feel supported from a tax perspective, and have all of the information they need in a timely manner.
- Supporting our Corporation Tax Senior Manager from a local entity perspective in relation to Group-led tasks such as Pillar 2, country by country reporting, and ETR forecasting.
We'd love to hear from you if you...
- You're a qualified accountant and/or qualified tax advisor
- You're an experienced people manager
- You have significant experience working inhouse in international tax and/or transfer pricing (in Fin Tech or other Financial Services is a bonus!)
- You're comfortable working relatively autonomously
- You're energetic and are hands-on with your work, tackling whatever needs doing to make things happen
- You enjoy the challenges that come with international expansion
