Suppression Systems Sales Manager - Homebased covering the UK Candidate would ideally be located around the Midlands moving down to the South top side of the M25

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced and accomplished Systems Sales Manager from within the Fire & Security industry.

  • Basic Salary - £45-50,000 Subject to experience

  • Marlowe Fire & Security's Suppression System Sales Manager's

Professionally represent the Company's brand and successfully sell all the Company's products and services throughout the United Kingdom, ensuring the achievement of an agreed sales target.

You will identify and develop new business with End Users, Builders, Electrical Contractors and Consultants who require Suppression and Fire systems.

Reporting directly to the systems director and working closely with the team to deliver the company's annual targets and growth strategy.

  • Spearhead the development and growth of Suppression and Fire systems opportunities within the business.
  • Prospect new market opportunities through referrals, marketing, personal development, cold calling, canvassing, inbound lead follow-up and tender opportunities.
  • Deliver and maintain the highest level of performance for customer installation and service delivery.
  • Attend sales appointments to sell all the Company's products and services.
  • Dealing directly or via the account manager for existing customer requirements.
  • Develop successful national sales opportunities to the required level.
  • Achieve monthly activity and target objectives
  • Collate appropriate information and ensure all correct documentation is utilised.
  • Provide preparation, and full provision of design quotations to ensure clients' deadlines are achieved.
  • Work closely with the estimating team on the pricing of work
  • Cost & Technical support to the BIDS team as required.
  • Provide reports as required
  • Constant attainment of agreed targets
  • Forecast reporting every week and an up-to-date rolling three-month forecast.
  • Be continually aware of the changes in legislation & product development.
  • Completion of and attendance at AST meeting/s for projects over a predetermined value
  • Completion of a first review of your customer's terms and conditions, highlighting areas of concern
  • Diarise all appointments and work activities daily.

  • A proven (ability/track record) in a structured target and activity-driven sales environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Suppression Systems, with fire protection product selling experience.
  • A good understanding of all the relevant industry standards codes of practice.
  • Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft 365 applications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a strong network of contacts.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Are proficient in using CRM systems and sales tools
  • Hold a valid driver's license and are willing to travel as required
