Our client, a global leading organisation, is looking to hire a Quality Engineer with experience of test automation to drive high-quality software delivery.
In this hands-on role, you'll work within an Agile team to deliver robust manual and automated testing practices, while also taking on a tech/functional leadership role by guiding, overseeing, and driving testing activities across the team.
The successful candidate will lead testing efforts, mentor offshore testers and ensure the delivery of high-quality releases. Responsibilities include:
- Test planning
- Test case preparation
- Test execution
- Test automation
- Defect management to drive continuous improvement in our Agile testing processes
Additional responsibilities:
- Lead test planning, automation, and defect management
- Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders in Sprint ceremonies
- Support DevOps teams with deployment and environment issues
Relevant experience working with Scrum teams specialising in both manual testing and test automation is required. Proficiency with either Java or Groovy is essential. Experience as a Senior Quality Engineer with proficiency in Pega testing and test automation tools is also necessary.
