Macildowie are working with this client based in Stoneleigh, a forward-thinking organisation within the environmental and sustainability sector, to recruit a Sales and Marketing Manager for a newly created role with outstanding scope to shape a national brand. This opportunity sits at the heart of a charity renowned for its dedication to preserving the UK's rare and native breeds. The role offers a perfect blend of strategy and creativity, allowing you to lead on digital transformation, partnerships, sponsorships and business development, all while aligning with the charity's mission and values.
Marketing & Communications:
- Be project lead for a full relaunch of the website
- Develop and implement a clear strategy to increase visibility and drive membership/donations
- Manage and grow social media presence, with delivery support from wider team
- Creating and maintaining marketing materials including collateral copy and content
- Develop and maintain community engagement including digital and in person membership and forums.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, contact and secure new corporate partners, members and sponsorship opportunities
- Represent at events, agricultural shows, and conferences
- Build relationships with sponsors and partners across sectors
- Develop strategies to attract and retain business supporters aligned with values as well as individual members
- Explore lead generation and prospecting with like-minded organisations
Reporting & Analysis:
- Set KPIs and report regularly on marketing ROI and engagement performance
- Use insights to optimise campaigns and inform future strategy
- Manage and report on digital performance using data and analytics to inform strategy
- Oversee databases and pipelines to track progress and inform decision-making
The Candidate:
- Self-driven and proactive - able to lead on strategy and delivery with minimal oversight
- Digitally confident - able to project manage websites and use analytics tools
- Creative and strategic - someone who can both ideate and lead on execution when needed
- Commercially minded - understands how to align mission with income generation
