Platform Recruitment have partnered with a digital agency who are Mid-weight Headless WordPress Developer to join their digital team on a contract basis.
This role will work across exciting web projects, collaborating with designers and developers to build fast, scalable sites using WordPress as a headless CMS alongside React and Next.js.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites using headless WordPress architecture
- Implement REST APIs to deliver content from WordPress
- Optimise websites for speed, SEO, and accessibility
- Ensure high-quality code through testing and documentation
- Debug and resolve development issues
Key Skills:
- WordPress development experience (themes, plugins, CPTs).
- Strong experience with headless CMS (WordPress + React/Next.js)
- Proficient in PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind
- Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) block development
