Overview
Design Engineer – £60,000 – £70,000 plus pension, bonus and hybrid working. This role is based in London with occasional travel to Brighton and other UK locations. The successful candidate will join a leading global design house that delivers excellence in interior design and installation for both residential and commercial clients worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to help create, design and deliver projects on time.
- Prepare conceptual and technical drawings and documentation for a range of projects.
- Develop 3‑D drawings using CAD tools.
- Conduct site surveys and share findings with the project team.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.
- Work independently and as part of a team, coordinating closely with other departments.
- Attend client meetings across London and travel to the Head Office in Brighton fortnightly.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in 3‑D CAD design, ideally for furniture or stairs.
- Proficiency with one or more of the following systems: Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit or a similar platform.
- Degree in Engineering or Design.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
