Remote Sales Engineer UK Wind, Oil& Gas, Metals in Bury

A remote position based in the UK for a Sales Engineer in the Wind, Oil & Gas, and Metals sectors. The company has an extensive research and development department, as well as in-house testing facilities where new designs and customer-specific material mixtures are further developed. Headquarters are located in the US with additional locations in Germany and Austria.

• Responsibility for a defined customer base, acquiring new customers in the wind, metal, and oil & gas sectors throughout the UK.
• Independently develop medium and long-term customer strategies.
• Conduct active contract and price negotiations with customers.
• Be part of customers' commercial and technical projects, also as project manager if required.
• Act as the contact person for complaints.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering or plastics technology or a comparable qualification.
• Initial experience in the sale of complex technical products or alternatively have experience as a design engineer or application consultant in the technical field.
• Strong in implementation, customer-oriented, and a sense of urgency.
• Written and spoken German and English language skills.
• Willingness to travel.
