The Role in a Nutshell:
- To grow, develop, and retain a profitable portfolio of mid-market customers through proactive, telephony-based account management.
- This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities through cross-selling and upselling.
- Manage a defined portfolio of mid-market customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the Salesforce system to support forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships through regular telephony-based engagement.
- Resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues efficiently and professionally.
- Prioritise customer engagement based on data insights and business value.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Operations, Sales Support) to ensure service excellence and data accuracy.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts on a daily and weekly basis.
Sales goals:
- Achievement of monthly revenue targets as defined by the business.
- Contribution to a £5 million annual revenue target through effective pipeline management.
- High levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Accurate Salesforce data to support business planning and reporting.
- Increased customer lifetime value through strategic account development.
Key ingredients for the role:
- Proven experience in a sales or account management environment.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce systems.

- Knowledge of the UK energy market and supplier propositions is desirable.
Salary: To be discussed at interview
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off, increasing to 30 days on length of service
