We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established MEICA specialist operating across the Water, Wastewater, and Power sectors. About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a PLC Software Engineer to join a forward-thinking company where you'll be working on high-impact infrastructure and utility projects. You'll be instrumental in programming, commissioning, and delivering automation systems critical to environmental and energy networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and develop PLC software (experience with Schneider, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Omron desirable)
- Design and implement logic/flow diagrams for system automation
- Troubleshoot, test and commission PLC systems both off-site and on-site
- Support the configuration and commissioning of automation/control devices
- Modify existing programs per client or site specifications
- Provide technical support to field teams and assist in improving automation processes
- Participate in the on-site commissioning of electrical and electronic systems
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience in PLC programming
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in the water or wastewater sector
- Familiarity with electrical control panels and process automation
- Experience with automation & process control equipment
