Management Accountant - Film

Award winning international Film business are looking for a Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Management Accountant to join their highly successful finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate, prepare and post month end adjustments and provide P&L, cash flow, and KPI variance analysis and commentaries.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain asset registers and post monthly interest and depreciation.
  • Liaise with group companies to prepare and post intercompany recharges.
  • Support UK film productions, including the setup of SPVs and liaison with production accountants.
  • Assisting AR to ensure invoicing and cash collection are up to date.
  • Perform VAT checks and preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Assist with the statutory and grant audit process.
  • Maintenance of group reporting tools and active support of system developments and implementations.
  • Ad-hoc projects/reporting.

Skills and Qualifications

  • More than 50% through a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
  • 2+ years' experience in a finance role
  • Excellent Excel skills including nested formulas, vlookups, pivot tables & sumifs
  • Proactive and organized with a strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience using SAP ERP or similar accounting software
  • Passion for the film industry and regular interaction with content
