We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established MEICA specialist operating across the Water, Wastewater, and Power sectors. Since its foundation in 1999, this organisation has delivered turnkey engineering services from initial concept through to design, construction, installation, and maintenance. They are committed to becoming a world leader in water and power solutions, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a PLC Software Engineer to join a forward-thinking company where you'll be working on high-impact infrastructure and utility projects. You'll be instrumental in programming, commissioning, and delivering automation systems critical to environmental and energy networks.
- Program and develop PLC software (experience with Schneider, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Omron desirable)
- Troubleshoot, test and commission PLC systems both off-site and on-site
- Support the configuration and commissioning of automation/control devices
- Provide technical support to field teams and assist in improving automation processes
- Participate in the on-site commissioning of electrical and electronic systems
Qualifications:
- Qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in PLC programming
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in the water or wastewater sector
- Familiarity with electrical control panels and process automation
