As a Senior Business Consultant, you will leverage deep industry expertise in financial services - particularly mortgage lending or conveyancing; and digital transformation - to lead complex customer engagements from pre‐sales discovery through to go‐live and ongoing optimisation. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how our customers (including partners) adopt the PEXA platform and broader group services, ensuring alignment to both their transformation agendas and PEXA's strategic direction.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading discovery and scoping engagements with C‐suite and senior business and operational stakeholders.
- Delivering compelling, insight‐driven product demonstrations.
- Working with the PEXA Customer and Product teams to create business cases and value propositions that align with customer needs.
- Defining and leading detailed solution design activities.
- Helping customers to create seamless and robust solutions, shaping customer operating models as needed.
- Providing delivery assurance by acting as the senior liaison between customer stakeholders and internal teams.
- Driving continuous improvement and benefits realisation post go‐live.
- Influencing PEXA's product direction through insight‐driven feedback.
Key Accountabilities:
- Own end-to-end consulting engagements with customers, ensuring exceptional quality and strategic alignment of PEXA services.
- Drive pre-sales engagements with customers, including leading senior-level product demonstrations.
- Lead detailed design workshops to understand customer processes and operating models.
- Champion the definition, continuous improvement and governance of scalable implementation frameworks.
- Provide delivery assurance throughout customer engagements.
- Work closely with our Product team to highlight the current and future needs of our customers.
- Create strong, trust-based relationships with customers.
- Mentor and support more junior team members.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 10+ years in the UK property industry, preferably within mortgage lending or conveyancing.
- 10+ years in consultancy or advisory roles within complex transformation programmes.
- Proven record in designing and delivering large-scale digital and operational transformation initiatives.
- Strong background working across Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills with attention to detail.
- Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships.
- Able to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a complex environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrable ability to take a 'customer first' approach.
- Highly self-motivated with a high level of personal integrity.
