We are seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
This role combines operational efficiency with a strong security mindset, ensuring that our platforms are reliable, compliant, and continuously improving.
You will play a key role in shaping our cloud strategy, enhancing our CI/CD capabilities, and embedding security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
- Build and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and failover strategies to ensure business continuity
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi (existing knowledge of Terraform or similar also acceptable)
- Ensure infrastructure is version-controlled, reusable, and aligned with best practices
- Maintain and enhance existing pipelines in Azure Dev Ops
- Design and implement modern CI/CD workflows to improve build, test, and deployment processes
- Evaluate and lead potential migration to more mature or scalable tooling platforms
- Integrate security practices into all stages of the development and deployment lifecycle
- Manage and optimise vulnerability scanning tools and processes
- Analyse and prioritise security findings, working with teams to remediate risks
- Act as the primary liaison for external penetration testing providers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with security standards and organisational policies
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Pulumi, ideally with C#)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops and at least one other, E. G Jenkins, Teamcity, Github actions, Octopus Deploy etc)
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and Dev Sec Ops practices
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation
Desirable Skills
- Experience migrating CI/CD platforms or modernising build systems
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (e. g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (e. g., ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Experience and understanding of the changing nature of AI involvement in this area and how to employ it
