Priory Medical Group seeks GPs to join a large multi-site training practice in York. We aim to reduce administrative burden and support patient care with a multidisciplinary team. We offer flexible clinics, supportive supervision, and opportunities to work across a range of services within PrioryCare.
Responsibilities
- Support flexible clinics where workload is managed according to clinical priority, with a named supervisor for mentorship and development.
- Work within a small-practice feel with background support from a larger practice and alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Contribute to patient care across in-person, telephone, and SMS interactions; participate in urgent and routine care and enhanced services.
- Engage in undergraduate/postgraduate medical education through HYMS and the Yorkshire Deanery.
- Participate in portfolio opportunities across specialist GP services (e.g., prison work, school health, sexual health LARC, Minor Surgery, Research, Frailty services) and collaborate with Clinical pharmacists, Specialist nurses, MSK practitioners, Social Prescribers, and Physician Associates.
- Work with the Complex Care Team for Care Home patients and Frailty input in the Community setting.

Job Details
- Location: Lavender Grove Surgery, Lavender Grove, York, YO26 5RX
- Salary: £10,400 to £11,000 per session (includes extras: on calls/educational events/Saturday mornings)
- Contract: Fixed term
- Duration: 12 months
- Working pattern: Part-time, 6 sessions per week (start around April 2026)
- Session Schedule: Monday – 2 Sessions, Wednesday – 2 Sessions, Thursday – 2 Sessions

- Registered GP on performer’s list
- GMC registration
