We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team and contribute to the design and improvement of user experiences across a range of digital products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research analysis through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and behaviours.
- Analyse research findings to inform design decisions and create user personas.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure designs align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and marketing, to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster collaboration and creativity.
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyse test results and make informed recommendations for design enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design, and incorporate them into the design process.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
- Experience in the transportation and logistics, manufacturing and distribution, and e-commerce sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification in UX/UI design, such as from Nielsen Norman Group, Interaction Design Foundation, or similar organisations, is a plus.
- Additional certifications in relevant fields (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Web Design) will be considered advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities and thought process is required for application.
