Gr4vy (pronounced Gravy) is a "no-code" cloud payments orchestration platform. Gr4vy’s mission is to become the platform-of-choice by which all retailers deploy payment infrastructure around the world. Founded by former PayPal fintech leaders, Gr4vy is set to disrupt the $4 Trillion global retail payment space by removing the complexity of merchants running their own payment infrastructure.
Software Engineers at Gr4vy join a fresh new team and collaborate across product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders. We work in short two-week sprints and regularly share, reflect on, and iterate on our work. Our platform uses Javascript along with React and Typescript for most of our frontend. We use unit, integration, and acceptance tests to drive design and keep everything working.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary product team to deliver working software that will be used by merchants around the globe.
- Write HTML, CSS, Python, and Typescript to deliver new features for our customers, as well as refactor our codebase to make it more pleasant and productive to work on.
- Write modular code and think about how your work fits into the big picture.
- Communicate effectively and discuss problems and solutions with your teammates.
- Provide input and ideas to help make decisions and shape features via product planning and other product development activities.
- Engage in learning, teaching, and sharing your experience with colleagues through code review, pairing, mentoring, and giving and receiving regular feedback.
- Experience writing Typescript, preferably using either Typescript and React.
- Familiarity with libraries like Starlette, AsyncIO, and the ability to create accessible HTML.
- Experience writing high-value tests and an understanding of software design principles.
