About The Role

Software Engineers at Gr4vy join a new team and collaborate across product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders. We work in two-week sprints, regularly sharing, reflecting, and iterating on our work.

Our platform primarily uses Javascript, React, and Typescript for the frontend. We employ unit, integration, and acceptance tests to guide design and ensure functionality.

Key Responsibilities

As a software engineer, you’ll work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver software used by merchants globally. Responsibilities include writing HTML, CSS, Python, and Typescript to develop new features, refactoring code for better maintainability, and ensuring modular, well-integrated code. Strong communication skills are essential for discussing problems and solutions, contributing ideas during product planning, and collaborating effectively. We encourage sharing knowledge through code reviews, pairing, mentoring, and feedback.

Requirements

We seek developers experienced in Typescript, preferably with React. Familiarity with libraries like Starlette and AsyncIO, and creating accessible HTML, is valuable. Experience in writing high-quality tests and understanding software design principles are also important.
