GR Employment Ltd are looking for part-time Parcel Sorters / Warehouse Operatives on behalf of one of our customers who is a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics. The position is based in Basildon, St. Hilary's Retail Park area.

The Operations Processor is a hands-on role, working within the warehouse section of the Service Centre. Working directly with secure, customs-cleared shipments, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials and shipments are processed and loaded into vehicles in a precise, safe and time-efficient manner. You will be required to scan and distribute materials within the service centre.
Shift Available:
Monday to Friday: 16:00 - 19:30
Hourly Rate: £13.02 per hour
Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00 pm
Saturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour
Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour
Job responsibilities:
Process all incoming and outgoing shipments
Loading parcels into cages
Scan/process shipments
Manual lifting of shipments is required
Ensure the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after the end of the shift
Other general warehouse duties
Job Qualifications:
No Experience needed
Security training will be given when required
Security checks:
As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening in accordance with aviation security regulations. This process will include:
Applicants will need to provide a 5-year history check or equivalent documentation to meet regulatory/security requirements
A UK criminal record check
Statutory holiday entitlement, pro rata
