GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Maidstone, Panattoni Park area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers. This role is essential in upholding the company’s values and ethos, delivering service with speed, passion, and a can-do attitude. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure. Depending on the area, couriers can be expected to complete anywhere from 55 to 75 stops. We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Shift Pattern & Compensation
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (end time may vary depending on workload)
- Hourly Rate: £14.25 per hour
- Shift Premium: Extra £2.71 per hour after 7.00 pm
- Saturday Premium: Extra £1.18 per hour
- Sunday Premium: Extra £2.20 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Measured by customer satisfaction and complete delivery and collections.
- As a frontline representative, complete all tasks in a customer-focused manner.
- Demonstrate excellent planning and organisation skills to prioritise work to meet customers’ requirements.
- Work on an assigned geographical route; may be asked to change route from time to time to meet business needs.
- Scanning and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met, excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to make good decisions and work under pressure.
- Depending on the area, couriers can be expected to complete anywhere from 55 to 75 stops.
Job Qualifications
- Full UK driving license
- Experience in a multi-drop courier role
- Security Training will be given when required
- For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years
