G R Employment Ltd is looking for a qualified Counterbalance Forklift Driver. This position is for an immediate start in the Wellingborough NN9 5DB area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading companies in dried fruits, nuts, and seeds. The company has been manufacturing for over 100 years here in the UK and providing healthy, nutritious snacks.
Shift Availability:
- Monday to Friday: 7 AM to 3 PM
- One weekend of Saturday and Sunday shifts every 5 weeks, on a rota basis
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: £12.89 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £19.33 per hour (After 40 hours)
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating a forklift and picking, loading, and unloading vehicles
- Using a truck with an RF scanner to pick up and transfer stock to its designated product location
- Maintaining cleanliness and performing general warehouse tasks
- Having a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Working effectively as part of a team
Job Qualifications:
- Valid Counterbalance licence
- Preferred basic experience with forklift trucks
- Food Hygiene and Health and safety training will be given when required
