GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Exeter, Exeter Logistics Park area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers. This role is essential in upholding the company’s values and ethos, delivering service with speed, passion, and a can-do attitude.
You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure.
We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM start (however, the starting time may vary)
Pay and Premiums
- Hourly Rate: £14.25 per hour
- Shift Premium: Extra £2.71 per hour after 7.00 pm
- Saturday Premium: Extra £1.18 per hour
- Sunday Premium: Extra £2.20 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Measured upon customer satisfaction and completed time definite deliveries and collections.
- As a frontline representative for the company, complete all tasks in a customer focused manner.
- Demonstrate excellent planning and organization skills to prioritize work in order to meet customers’ requirements.
- Work on an assigned geographical route, may be asked to change your route from time to time to meet business needs.
- Scanning and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met, with excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to make good decisions and work under pressure.
Job Qualifications
- Full UK driving license
- Experience in a multiple drop courier role would be preferred but not essential
- Security Training will be given when required
- For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years
