GR Employment Ltd is looking for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our clients in Dunstable.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers. This role is essential in upholding the company’s values and ethos, delivering service with speed, passion, and a can-do attitude.
You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday – 08:00 start
This is a temporary position providing relief cover for couriers. However, for the right candidate, this role could lead to a permanent placement.
Hourly rate £14.25 per hour
Job Responsibilities
As a courier driver, you will be measured by customer satisfaction and the complete delivery of definite deliveries and collections. As a frontline representative for the company, you will be required to complete all tasks in a customer-focused manner. You will be required to demonstrate excellent planning and organisation skills to prioritise work in order to meet customers’ requirements. You will work on an assigned geographical route; however, you may be asked to change your route from time to time to meet business needs.
Scanning and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met, excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to make good decisions and work under pressure.
Job Qualifications
- Full UK driving license
- Experience in a multi-drop courier role
- Security Training will be given when required
- For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years
