GR Employment Ltd are looking for part-time Parcel Sorters / Warehouse Operatives on behalf of one of our customers who is a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics. The position is based in Basildon, St Hilarys Retail Park area. We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.
The Operations Processor is a hands‑on role, working within the warehouse section of the Service Centre. Working directly with secure, customs‑cleared shipments, you will be required to ensure that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials and shipments are processed and loaded into vehicles in a precise, safe and time‑efficient manner. You will be required to scan and distribute material within the service centre.

- Precise and careful handling of shipments
- Working to tight timeframes and deadlines
- Demonstrating excellent teamwork
Shift Available:
Monday to Friday: 16:00 - 19:30
Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour
Shift Premium: Extra £2.71 per hour after 7.00pm
Saturday Premium: Extra £1.18 per hour
Sunday Premium: Extra £2.20 per hour
Job responsibilities:
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Loading parcels into cages
- Scan/process shipments
- Manual lifting of shipments is required
- Ensure the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after the end of the shift
- Other general warehouse duties
Job Qualifications:
- No Experience needed
- Security training will be given when required
