We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and be able to work on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing work.
- Perform construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures.
- Execute masonry work for building foundations, walls, and other structures.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Engage in fabrication tasks to create custom components for projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting and masonry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driving licence may be required for travel between job sites.
