GPW is working with a growing manufacturing client who is looking to recruit CNC Operators to join their team. The business is heavily invested in career development and offers strong overtime opportunities.
Role Overview:
- Set and operate CNC machines using job sheet programmes
- Verify and adjust programmes where required
- Ensure products meet quality and tolerance standards
- Carry out safety checks and maintain compliance documentation
- Report faults, issues, and improvements proactively
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment
Requirements:
- Experience with CNC machinery (WoodWop preferred)
- Ability to read CAD drawings
- Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
- Good organisational and communication skills
Desirable:
- 5-axis or 5S experience is ideal but not essential
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to develop
Shift & Pay:
- Morning shift: Mon–Thurs 6am–2pm, Fri 6am–12:45pm (34 hrs/week) or 6am-4pm
- £18.06/hr (£31,930/year) fully trained
- £16.36/hr (£28,924/year) during training (if required)
