Reference number: E(phone number removed) Job title: Solidworks Designer Pay rate £25 – £30 per hour Location: Oldham Duration: 3 Month contract Start date: ASAP Experienced contractor required for a SolidWorks Designer role on a 3 month contract based in Oldham. The role will pay, £25 – £30 per hour (Ltd company / umbrella rate) outside of IR 35 if Ltd. You will work on a range of CAD projects, using SolidWorks design package to develop 3D models and drawings which will be used in a manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities as the Solidworks Designer: * Collaborate with an internal team to develop bespoke designs for retail displays, furniture, and other custom projects. * Produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks. * Attend occasional in-office meetings in Oldham to discuss project briefs and align on requirements. * Ensure designs are practical, innovative, and align with manufacturing capabilities. Requirements: * Experience in technical design, preferably within furniture manufacturing or similar industries. * Proficiency in SolidWorks. * Strong understanding of materials, production processes, and manufacturing constraints. * Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Availability to work on projects flexibly, depending on demand.
