Quantity Surveyor – Blantyre, Scotland Salary: £46,000 per annum + Benefits GPW Recruitment is thrilled to present an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Based in Blantyre, Scotland, this role allows you to join a leading infrastructure services provider within the Energy Transmission & Distribution sector. About the Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality Transmission Projects across the Central Scotland Area. You’ll work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure project success while maintaining excellent commercial standards. Key Responsibilities * Manage multiple subcontract packages with a solid understanding of contractual obligations. * Produce accurate Forecasts/CVRs and utilize ERP systems (e.g., Coins, Causeway, SAP). * Deliver commercial reporting and contribute to exceptional project outcomes. * Travel regularly to sites and meetings as needed (a company car is provided). What We’re Looking For Qualifications: * Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Experience: * Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor. * Background in utilities, infrastructure, or major projects. * Prior experience working with contractors is advantageous. Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure. * Full UK driving license is essential.
