Purchasing Administrator required on a 6 month contract in Knowsley for a leading, established, professional Engineering / Construction company. In the role you will provide administrative support to a Purchasing Team, ensuring purchase invoices are approved and booked in a timely manner, supplier information is maintained, and procurement processes are followed efficiently. This role is well suited to someone with previous office experience who is comfortable working with data, systems, and repetitive tasks that require a high level of accuracy.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in an office-based role.
  • Experience within purchasing, supply chain, or accounts administration is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, spreadsheets).
  • Experience using an ERP system (training can be provided).
  • Ability to manage repetitive and structured tasks consistently.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, construction or a technical environment.
  • Understanding of purchase order and invoice processes.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
