GPW Recruitment are working with an established, specialist manufacturer in Haydock to recruit Solderers, initially on a temporary contract these are temp to perm roles for the right candidate.
We need someone to work days, this pays £13.50 - £14.00 per hour and you’ll work Monday to Thursday: 08:00 until 16:30 and Friday: 08:00 until 13:00.
This role involves precision soldering of small scale connectors and requires expertise in micro soldering or nano soldering, working under magnification. As the Solderer you should have a strong understanding of solder quality and soldering to a high standard. You will work to daily production targets, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Ideal candidates will have experience in electronics manufacturing, military sectors or similar. Candidates with an IPC Qualification would be of particular interest.
You will need:
- Strong nano soldering or micro soldering experience
- Good dexterity
- Good time-management skills, to ensure orders meet delivery timescales and output reaches production targets.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Excellent attention to detail with a real focus on solder quality.
