GPW Recruitment are partnering with Ford Halewood Transmissions Ltd (FHTL) in Halewood, a vacancy exists within the Maintenance Support Organisation office to work on their existing site during a huge transformation. Ford is investing £230m into the Halewood site to produce electric power units and it will be the first site to manufacture EV components in Europe, in 2024 with a capacity of 420,000 units.

Qualifications and Experience required by the Maintenance Support Organisation:

  • Time served apprenticeship
  • General computer literacy using company systems
  • User knowledge of Excel & Access database applications
  • Good communication skills
  • Highly motivated and self-driven
  • Proven ability to work in a team
  • Good understanding of 5S and workplace organisation

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Maintenance FRACAS
  • Specifying / ordering of spare parts & dealing with suppliers
  • Supporting area maintenance & maintenance supervisor
  • Preventive Maintenance & Breakdown tracker data collection
  • Area TPM Scheduling & TPM updates to machines
  • CBM - collection & analyse data
  • Maintenance systems administration

  • Salary of £45,230.18 pa (includes 33 days per year holidays; 25 vacation & 8 bank holidays)
  • Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:30 and Friday 7:00-12:30
