About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Machine Vision Expert to join our advanced manufacturing team in Teverola, Italy. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge machine vision systems for high-volume production environments, with a strong focus on Lithium-ion battery manufacturing. Your work will ensure precision, reliability, and scalability in automated inspection and quality control systems for next-generation energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine vision systems for automated manufacturing lines, particularly for Lithium-ion battery production.
- Develop and validate vision applications from prototype to full-scale production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision solutions for process control and quality assurance.
- Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations for new vision technologies and suppliers.
- Maintain and improve machine vision standards, benchmarking against industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize vision systems to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in machine vision systems for industrial automation.
- Proven experience in Lithium-ion battery manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in 2D/3D vision platforms (e.g., Keyence, Cognex, Halcon).
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and OpenCV.
- Knowledge of optics, cameras, lenses, lighting, and calibration techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols (Profinet, EthernetIP) and automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
