HR Officer required for a very nice manufacturing business based in Rochdale, a very established, successful and growing business. The appointment of this HR Officer role will be their first HR person into the business. The Company is strengthening its organisation to support significant business growth and as a result is introducing this new HR Officer role.
Key focus will be to provide support in managing administration of employee lifecycle within the company and may in future progress to include payroll processing. The role will include standardisation of all forms of employee documentation, moving to digital platforms where appropriate, development of time and attendance systems and provision of performance data to support management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Reporting ensuring compliance with pensions auto-enrolment.
- HR Administration maintaining employee records, updating the employee handbook, managing holiday/absence tracking, supporting recruitment/leaver/disciplinary processes. Moving HR records from hard copy to digital format (where appropriate), improving processes and managing these records to achieve compliance with statutory requirements.
- Training and Development - implementing employee training tracker.
