The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join our clients team. As an Electrical Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of electricians on various industrial sites across the UK. This is a senior, site-based role, where you will ensure safety, quality standards, and schedules are met, while supporting the growth and development of your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of electricians on client sites.

  • Coordinate and oversee site operations to ensure safety compliance and high standards of work.

  • Perform electrical inspection and testing (2391).

  • Mentor junior staff, ensuring consistency in technical standards and safety procedures.

  • Prepare and submit documentation and reports in line with client requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

  • 5+ years of electrical experience, including team leadership in industrial environments.

  • CompEx 1-4: Essential for hazardous area work.

  • 2391 / 2394/5 Test & Inspection: Essential for performing inspections and testing.

Desirable:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations: Knowledge of the latest wiring standards.

  • SCO (Safety Compliance Officer): Preferred for managing safety on-site.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Leadership: Strong supervisory skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team of electricians.

  • Technical Ability: Competency in installation, inspection, and ATEX (explosion protection) work.

  • Organisation: Efficient at job planning, delegation, and documentation management.
