  • 6 month contract with a view to be taken on after that

This is a new role to work alongside a EHS Manager, ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records, and helping create a safe working environment across the business.

Key responsibilities include

  • Maintaining health & safety documentation, risk assessments, policies, and compliance records.
  • Managing training records, competency matrices, and scheduling inductions and refresher training.
  • Monitoring audits, inspections, corrective actions, statutory testing, and certification renewals.
  • Supporting workplace inspections, accident and incident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
  • Producing monthly H&S reports and KPI data.
  • Liaising with managers and supervisors to ensure health & safety information is accurate and up to date.

We're looking for someone who has

  • 1–2 years' experience in an administration, operations, or health & safety support role.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in HSE.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or a willingness to study towards it).
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
