WINTER GRITTING OPERATIVES REQUIRED - NIGHTS

Join Our Winter Maintenance Team Working lates/nights.

Seasonal contract: October – March

Rate: £20ph CIS, hours up to 12 hours (to be confirmed).

Daily weather monitoring and callouts when temperatures fall below 7°C. Notification issued from 1pm each day. Operations commence after 3pm when required.

Team sizes typically range from 4–7 operatives. Additional standby operatives required to cover holidays and absences.

About the Role

Help keep key sites safe and operational during periods of frost and icy conditions. You'll be working across a variety of locations, including:

  • Healthcare facilities
  • Rail stations
  • Large commercial and logistics sites

The operation will run for 7 days per week. However, we do not expect individuals to work continuously across all 7 days. A rota system will likely be implemented, such as 4 days on and 4 days off, although this is still to be confirmed.

  • Good availability during the winter season
