In this role, you will ensure the timely and accurate provision of management accounts for UKI & Nordics and supporting analysis to the Commercial Director and Commercial & Finance Managers. The individual in this role will need to show a keenness and aptitude for getting things right, first time, and be committed to ensuring that the Finance function is professional and well respected.
As part of this role, you will also:
- Assist the Finance Manager with month end P&L reporting and analysis - building relationships with key departmental managers to encourage cost ownership and control across the business.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet is maintained, providing challenge to commercial teams and improve working capital awareness.
- Provide information in a timely and accurate manner for P&L and Balance Sheet review.
- Create month end journals and adjustments, including intercompany journals and recharges.
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations for review by Finance Manager.
- Measure and analyse potential opportunities versus risks both internally and externally.
- Prepare company recharges across all contracts liaising closely with the commercial managers.
- Participate and deliver ad hoc projects, when necessary.
Our Ideal candidate will need to have:
- Part Qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or with a desire to pursue this pathway.
- Ability to demonstrate meeting account deadlines in a Group environment.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail when working under pressure.
- Experience working in a busy office environment.
We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role as a management accountant. You will work 37.5 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
