We are currently seeking a professional, siteābased Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical Bias. Based at a commercial, highāend, flagship client site, the role focuses on delivery of planned preventive maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, installations and support event setāups. You will support and participate in an onācall rota operated from within the siteābased team. Occasional overtime may be requested.
As a MultiāSkilled engineer with Mechanical Bias, the role will be oriented around mechanical works with a requirement for flexibility and willingness to undertake other basic electrical works that fall within the scope of the contract. This could include maintaining, repairing, and installing assets around the site, whether that be a specific piece of equipment, works to a building or the site infrastructure.
The static MultiāSkilled Engineer will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our client and customers. Developing good working relationships with our client, customers and colleagues with interaction on a professional level is a key requirement for this position.
Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar recognised qualification
- Knowledge of Building Services BMS, Cooling Towers, Sprinkler Systems
- Maintenance and cleaning of FCUs and AHUs
- Maintenance and repairs of pumps/motors preferable
- Water testing (L8), fire alarm testing and general reactive tasks
- Working on and managing PPMS from CAFM system
- Working with and managing specialist subācontractors
We will provide full training on specialist items once you start and ensure you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience of working in a similar frontāofāhouse environment.
