Location and Hours: Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 4QS

Hours: Monday‑Thursday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm; Friday, 7:30 am – 3:00 pm

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician who will undertake planned maintenance, reactive fault‑finding, and repairs based at our client site in Barrow. You will be committed to ensuring the highest standards are always adhered to and will readily interact with our clients as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to undertake planned maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with specifications, PPMs, and schedules.
  • Complete electronic/paperwork records and provide quotations for any outstanding actions.
  • Carry out required electrical tests and record the results on completion of all repairs and installations.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations to prevent client systems from being prejudiced and maintain continuity of operation as far as practical circumstances allow.

Qualifications:

  • Formal Electrical Qualification (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Experience in a similar Facilities Management role
  • Good communication skills

Training & Development:

We will provide full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job and be part of the team. You will work 40 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
