Overview
Due to significant growth and increased order volume from multiple blue chip aerospace customers, GPS Recruitment are recruiting for a high calibre Senior Toolmaker/CNC Machinist with strong programming and precision engineering experience.
Key Requirements
- Proven background in toolmaking, precision machining, or aerospace fixtures
- Strong CNC machining skills with Fanuc control programming (essential)
- Experience with Fusion 360 (CAM/model manipulation)
- EZCAM Mill Pro experience beneficial; training provided
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and produce right first time quality
- Comfortable working independently and solving technical problems
- Experience with EDM tooling or electrode holders is advantageous
Role Responsibilities
- Manufacture high accuracy fixtures, electrode holders, and precision tooling
- Program and set CNC machines using Fanuc controls
- Fusion 360 for model edits, and machining strategies
- Maintain quality standards for aerospace customers
- Support continuous improvement and efficient workflow
