We are on the search for a Supply Chain Planner/ Administrator to join our clients supply chain team. Your role focuses on providing key administrative support ensuring the department runs smoothly. Duties will cover ordering stock, tracking deliveries and processing orders.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring that the manufacturing teams consistently have the correct supplies in place.
Key Duties (not limited to):
* Develop and maintain an efficient rolling plan to ensure optimal stock levels based on orders, demand trends, and line performance.
* Assist the design and implementation of forecasting and production planning models to enhance service and efficiency.
* Integrate customer service and planning teams to create a high-performing, end-to-end function.
* Coordinate daily with production to optimise orders and minimise line changes.
* Monitor plan performance, resolve issues promptly, and communicate customer impacts early.
* Collaborate with Procurement to ensure material availability
* Establish and track weekly planning KPIs and reports.
* Work with Logistics to manage shelf life, reduce write-offs, and prevent shortages.
* Maintain strong cross-functional relationships and proactively highlight risks. xiskglj
* Oversee MRP and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to forecast capacity and improve efficiency.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Supply Chain Planner position:
* Minimum of 2 years\’ experience within a planning function
* Experience in using an ERP system
* Scheduling software experience
* Advanced Excel skills
