PSV Technician The job: An excellent and rewarding job opportunity has arisen for an experienced maintenance technician to join our garage as a PSV Engineer/Fitter. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the role involves maintaining the fleet of PSV's. What does it involve? Shifts are 5 over 7 Sunday to Saturday (hours to be confirmed at interview) • over time available and paid at time and a half. • Servicing and repairs to DVSA standards. • Continuous improvement of vehicle standards. • MOT preparation. • Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to the highest standard. Requirements: • Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognised qualifications (E.G level 3 NVQ) • Can work safely and unsupervised to pre-set standards and guidelines. • Electrical knowledge is desirable but not necessary. • A PCV license is desirable but not necessary. • Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance (training can be provided) with IRTEC accreditation favourable.
