We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our steel fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape steel components to precise specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and job specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately.
- Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine parameters for each job.
- Program and adjust machine settings for optimal performance and accuracy.
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools.
- Ensure all parts meet tolerance and quality standards.
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience operating CNC press brakes, preferably Bystronic machines.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm. Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm
