The Job:
- To carry out day to day Engineering and maintenance activities across Production facilities ensuring production equipment/machinery are maintained and serviced in order to deliver production requirements that meet the goals and objectives of the business.
Qualifications and Training:
- Multi Skilled with recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or industry recognised qualification for e.g., BTEC ONC qualification in Engineering based subject or equivalent.
Experience:
- Proven experience in completion of Engineering and maintenance activities across Production facilities delivering maintenance and service schedules to plan that have met goals and objectives of the business.
- Proven ability in planning and prioritising workloads balanced between planned and emergency maintenance activities in production/similar facilities.
- Practical application in the maintenance and repair of Electrical/Mechanical and control systems, including modifications and installations (incl. pneumatic systems).
- Experience in use of Preventative Maintenance Systems.
- Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
- Experience in working in FMCG/similar high-volume manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent Planning and Organisation.
- Innovative and collaborative, identifying solutions and problem solving - continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised, self-starter and motivated.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 3 shift system: 6.00am-2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm & 10.00pm-6.00am.
